Construction on Tait Ave. (between Main and Bean)
Work to remove and replace the curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveways on Tait Avenue between W. Main and Bean Avenue is in progress.

The work will begin on the west side of the street, beginning at the north end near Bean Avenue and will proceed southerly to W. Main.  It order to accommodate the work zone on the west half of the street, Tait Avenue will be modified to accommodate one lane of one way northbound traffic only.  Due to the narrow street, on street parking will not be allowed on either side of the street during this construction process.  It is anticipated that the work on the west side will take approximately two weeks, depending on the weather.    Once the work on the west side of the block has been completed, the work zone and traffic lanes will switch sides and the work to remove the curbs, gutters, sidewalks and driveways on the east side of the block will begin. SCHOOL PARENTS: During this time, Lyndon Avenue will be designated as the area for student drop-offs and also for the after school pick-ups.  We urge parents to avoid using Tait Avenue during this construction period.
