Breaking the cycle of poverty starts with giving a child the tools to succeed. The SHCS Pack-A-Back program provides new backpacks filled with school supplies to low income students. Can you help with our Summer 2018 Community Outreach project? We are helping
Sacred Heart Community Service reach its goal of filling 3000 backpacks - the largest amount ever! Our parish’s goal is to provide 125 - 3rd and 4th grade students with a backpack.
We need pencils, pens, markers, notebooks, folders, glue sticks, crayons. highlighters, binders and more.
Please take a tag from the tree and purchase the item indicated.
Are you able to fund an entire backpack at $75.00? Please select the tag with “FUND A BACKPACK FOR $75”
Bins will be set up in the vestibule to receive donations July 7 - 22nd.
We need volunteers to help pack the backpacks on Wednesday August 1 in Hofmann Center 9 - noon.
