Advent Greetings to all!
As we prepare to celebrate the Christmas season, I invite you to prayerful reflection on the Incarnation. To assist you, we will provide to all parishioners the “
Six Minutes a Day
” daily meditation books. These booklets contain scriptural considerations that offer timely insight that help to prepare for the approaching season. You can find these booklets at the entrances of the Church and at the parish office.
In this mailing, please find the
schedule for the communal reconciliation service and Christmas Masses
. I encourage you to make this Advent a time of reflection on the wonder of the incarnate Word of God. We will celebrate the feast of the Immaculate Conception on Monday 9, 2013.
Please invite your family and friends to join us in prayerful solidarity during the Advent and Christmas celebrations. On behalf of the entire parish staff I wish you a happy, holy, and peaceful season. May God’s love touch your hearts in a special way during the season of
Advent and Christmas
. May the mystery of the Incarnation be the catalyst for recognizing the needs of those around us and make us eager to be generous during this season of hope and joy.
