*Changes for High School Confirmation Classes*

To the parents of the children who seeks the Sacrament of Confirmation,

My greetings to you as I, Fr. Gabriel, began my new ministry at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish as a Parochial Vicar. As some of you might know and heard that I was appointed as a new Confirmation coordinator by Fr. Greg Kimm, our new Pastor. I am looking forward to seeing you and working with you in future.

After a series of meetings and discussions, the new administration has decided to change the Confirmation programs from two years to one year program. Now that being said, we have also decided to finish the currently registered candidates first before accepting new enrollments.

As a result, many of you will notice that the registration for the Sacrament of Confirmation is currently offline.

We are terribly sorry for any inconvenience that you and your child/children are experiencing, but at this moment we humbly ask for your patience and understanding…

If your child has some special need to receive confirmation this year, you are welcome to enroll him/her in the confirmation program at one of the local Catholic high schools (if applicable) or in the program of a nearby parish.

Element 4:12 Youth Ministry 
Based on Timothy 4:12: "Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an 
example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity" 

Each Element 4:12 session is designed to learn about the Bible, the Catholic traditions, strengthening relationships with God and others and contemporary faith issues teens deal with today. Element 4:12 is open to all teens from any of high schools in the area. Our emphasis is on building a parish youth community of friendship and faith and allowing teens to have a safe place to talk about their faith.
